In Alfred, N. Y., on Sabbath, April 15, 1893, Mrs. Olive Monroe Green, aged 60 years. She was born in the town of Alfred, of which she has ever since been a resident. In early life she professed Christ and became a member of the Second Alfred Church, then under the pastoral care of Eld. Jared Kenyon. In this connection she remained until death. Her husband, Luke Green 2d, died several years ago. She leaves six children and a large circle of friends to mourn her departure.
