Obituary Mrs. Gardie Hineman died last Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Hineman, south of Tomah. She had been ailing for some time with consumption, this summer making a trip to Montana in a vain effort to find relief. She returned about two weeks ago and failed rapidly until the end. Two small children, besides the husband and other relatives, remain to mourn their loss. The funeral was held Monday.

Washington, Aug. 6--- Mrs. Wilson, wife of the President, is reported to have died last evening. Mrs. Wilson sustained a fall on a slippery floor at the White House in March last, which compelled her to undergo a slight operation upon her spine. This, with a complication of nervous diseases, stomach trouble and Bright's disease, were causes of her rapid decline.

NOTE: Bessie's death record states she was born in Dayton, Ohio, but I have been unable to find a birth record. Two people in Montgomery County have tried to locate it for me, but could not find one. I plan to attempt locating one in VanWert County and see if I have any luck there.
