  15. at 2:30 pm from osteo sarcoma (A malignant bone tumor). The informant onher death certificate was husband, Frank. Rick Munday told me he hadheard that Ola had been kicked by a horse and had died shortly thereafter from those injuries. There was no mention of this event on herdeath certificate
  16. Ola had a growth on her shoulder, story was that it ruptured and she diedshortly thereafter. Before death she stayed at the doctors home, so hecould care for her. She wrote this letter to her husband and children, dated May 2, 1922:
My Dear Frank and children, Just a wee line as I am afraid it won't getout in time for you to get it tomorrow. Hope you are all gettin on fineand not worrying yourselves about me, for I feel better today than Ihave for 1 wk or more honestly. I sometimes think Dr. Chubb may bring itout yet. I certainly do hope so, we will give her a fair trial at least.I tell you if I was home I couldn't even wait on myself, so I certainlythink here is the place for me. And I am quite content; Because I knowhow things are; not that I don't want to, But what is most helpful.Expect you are all busy, ...boys making there gardens. I want to be homein time to get some good things out of there too. I had a long letterfrom Grace today. You spoken about your prayer's Frank. I remember ofone of the Worker's speaking in mtg, Every honest, sincere prayer thatwent up to God only caused the devil to work hard and only weakened hisplan's, don't ever get discouraged in prayer. I only will be glad when Ican get more settled and strong in body, so I may spen more of mystrength in His service and way. Will be glad when we can ALL go tomtg's again and have fellowship with His people. Now excuse mixture andhurried line, and I am comfort now than have for sometime. So will lookfor a line when you can spare time. With LOTS OF LOVE and KISSES toEVERY ONE of you, Your wife and mother
