Ügyek's wife Emese saw a Turul bird (Probably a hawk?) and she felt that she was inpregnated by this bird. Thus, legend has it, Ügyek called his clan the "Turul" clan.


Ügyek is the father of Almos, who would ultimately unite the Magyar clans. But Ügyek wasn't a High Prince of the Magyars, his son was the first. Thus, Ügyek would be a prince of the Turul clan.
