    6 Obadiah Cooley II3 (Obadiah, Benjamin1), s. Obadiah I and Rebecca (Williams), No. 2, b. Aug. 1, 1678, Springfield, Mass.; d. there Oct. 6, 1764, and bur. in the Springfield Cemetery. He lived in Springfield and in West Springfield. In 1730 he purchased land on the West side of the Great River, and in 1738 purchased the Benjamin Ball acreage on the bank of the river, in West Springfield. This place was later known the Isaac Humiston place."
