Augustus Burrell, whom we mentioned as being at home last week, is at Portsmouth Grove Hospital, in Rhode Island.

We are glad to learn that a friend or friends of John Kingman have gone from Weymouth to see him, at Fortress Monroe, where he is said to be very sick.

Timothy Driscoll, 35th Regiment, was left sick at Hampton Hospital, Va., but is supposed to have gone to kentucky,-one or two hundred invalids, who were mentioned last week as having gone there to be near their regiment.

A Son of Mr. Driscoll, James C., is in the 4th Regiment, is in improved health. The eldest son in this family, John A., is also in the army, in the 4th Rhode Island, and well. He has been a number of battles. Our informant remarks: "All the male members of this family have gone to defend their country. It is a patriotic family."

Royal Thayer has been promoted to a first lieutenant cy in the heavy artillery at Fort Warren, on garrison duty.

Nelson E. Knight, who was wounded at Antietam, and also at Fredericksburg, went with his wound undressed for five days at the latter place. He has been home, is better, and back to his regiment, the 19th. He is well, and has been promoted to orderly.

William M. Curtis, of the 19th Regiment, was wounded at Fredericksburg, but is well, and has been promoted to Sergeant Major.

Seth M. Harris, also of the 19th, has been long in the hospital, but is now better.

Hiram Snow, 16th, was wounded in the temple by a piece of shell, last summer. He is with his regiment now.

Melvin Clark, who is in the 35th, has suffered pretty severely from repeated sickness, and the loss of a finger, but he desires to remain in the army. He has had a number of narrow escapes. At South Mountain he had his cap shot off, and his coat riddled. He is young to be in the service, but is anxious to remain, and says he has plenty of friends who will see him well taken care of. He is eighteen years old.

E. Joseph Augier, William Within (?) 35th, and Orderly-sergeant E. Knight, of 4th, have been recently heard from friends; generally well.

Patrick Dugan, of the 9th, came home from the Portsmouth- Grove Hospital last week, discharged; having been wounded at Harper's Ferry.

Our company in the 35th are well satisfied, as far as learned, with removal to Kentucky.
