The brains of the family, she and Syd were pioneers in the travel business, they had buses originally then moved on to package tours. Martin carried on in the travel business and emigrated to Australia in 1977ish. Nell and Syd joined him soon after. She was an early member of the Women's League of Health and Beauty, was always fit and active; at 80 she was teaching yoga to the 'old folk' in Adelaide, who were mostly much younger than her! At the age of 90-odd she started to get dementia and by 99 was pretty much lost.
