MR. NEIL P. HANSEN
The death occurred recently at Rongotai, after a long illness, of Mr. Neil Peter Hansen, at the age of 67 years. Mr. Hansen was engaged in the printing trade for the greater part of his life, having learned the trade in Australia. On his arrival in New Zealand he was for eight years on the staff of the "Evening Post" and for 12 years on the staff of the "Waikato Times." In 1929, through ill-health, he was compelled to retire from active work, and for the past five years resided at Rongotai. He took a keen interest in all Labour movements. Mr. Hansen leaves a widow and two sons, Mr. Lawrie Hansen, Claudelands, Hamilton, and Mr. Cyril Hansen, Wellington, and one sister, Mrs. E. G. Humphrey, of Taringa, Queensland. The funeral, which was private, took place at Mount View Cemetery, Marton, on Tuesday.
