Logan County, Kentucky Equity Case: The above named plaintiffs state that in the year 1851 Nehemiah Edwards, Senr departed this life in Logan County, Kentucky after having made his last will and testament, a copy of which is filed here with, the original having been proved and recorded in the Logan County Court Clerks office. (since lost/mis-filed) .....Said Edwards left at his death nine children to witt the plaintiffs: Martha G. Edwards who had intermarried with Wm. B. Edwards, Edward H Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Peyton Edwards and the defendants Ann Ligon who intermarried with William Ligon, also Nehemiah Edwards Jr. who has since died leaving his widow Mary Edwards and two children to wit: Mary E. Edwards and Virginia M. Edwards who are infants and for whom the said Fry is guardian duly appointed by the Logan County Court. Evaline Edwards, Polly G. Edwards and Lucy E. Edwards. That the said Eveline Edwards has since died and by her will devised all of her estate to her sister Pully S. and Martha G. Edwards.
