There is an intention in Oxford for Capt. Nehemiah Davis and Polly Rich, published 10 Jan 1821, but no record of the actual marriage. No mention of this is made in Davis. Inspection of the probate may yield clues that tell if the marriage was actually completed. It would appear not.
