Nathaniel Fuller, s/o John Fuller and Thankful Gorham, b. Barnstable 10 Dec 1716, d. ---, m. (1) 22 Feb 1738-9 Abigail Hinckley, m. (2) 8 Nov 1781 Hannah West. "He brought home the smallpox [from the French and Indian War] and his wife, and daughters Thankful and Abigail, died of that disease."
[This source places his wife's death about 1760. The second marriage is in 1781 and is found in Barnstable records as such. Yet Barnstable records shows children born 1758, 1760, and 1763, and even this source shows a birth in the supposed wifeless period. So there is a big inconsistency here. Either there was a middle wife, or the first wife didn't die in 1760. The spacing of births suggests a middle wife. The first wife probably died about 1756, and Capt. Fuller remarried, and the three children starting in 1758 belong to this middle wife.]
