A transcription of his will:

In the Name of God Amen I Nathaniel Arnold of Southam in the County of Warw. Farrier being weak of Body but of sound & perfect Memory (praised be God) do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in Manner & Form following (that is to say) First & principally I comend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God, hoping through the Merit, Death & Passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have full & free pardon & forgiveness of all my Sins, & to inherit everlasting Life. And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Extrix, hereinafter named. And as touching the Disposition of such worldly Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me, I give & dispose thereof as followeth. Impimis. I will that all my debts and funeral Expences be paid & discharged. Item. I give & bequeath to my Son John Arnold of Southam aforesaid the sum of one Shilling. Item. I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Cooke Wife of John Cook of Long Itchington in the County aforesaid, Husbandman, the sum of one Shilling. Item. I bequeath to my ten Grand-Children, in whatsoever place living, one Shilling each. Item. All the Rest & Residue of my personal Estate, Money, Goods & Chattels with the dwelling House & Shop which I hold by Deed situate and being in Southam aforesaid together with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any Wise to me appertaining, I give unto Elizabeth Arnold my dear & loving Wife Whom I make my full & sole Extrix of this my last Will & Testamt Revoking by it all former Wills by me heretofore made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal this tenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord Christ according to the count now used in England 1737.

But further I will that after my Decease & the Decease of my said Wife Elizabeth Arnold the dwelling House & Shop above mentioned with all the Appurtenances for [...] the [...] ensuing Term of the Lease shall descend to my said Son John Arnold of Southam Farrier.
