Yockey was the youngest of four children (2m+2f) born to "Uncle Bud" and an unnamed mother who was the niece of the author's father. Naomi's married name was "Mrs. Kenneth Matheson". Naomi's physical description is related in this letter:
She is a big woman, has dark hair and eyes like Uncle Bud, her father.
The letter goes on to describe the departure of her father:
When she was only 2 or 3 years old, her father left her and never returned. No one ever knew what became of him. ... Naomi can't remember him.
Yockey was confirmed into Catholicism at the age of 10, but later became a Methodist.
Fact confirmations
The stated birth of Naomi in 1898 is confirmed by S1. In 1971, Naomi was living in Long Beach, California according to the letter, which is consistent with her last residence stated in S1 as being Long Beach (1987).
