Obituary, The Augusta Chronicle June 9, 2000: Mrs. Nannie Tullis King Mill retiree Mrs. Nannie Dove Tullis, 78, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Windermere Health and Rehabilitation Center. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Warren Baptist Church with Dr. Frank Page officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Tullis, a native of Lincoln County, had retired from King Mill. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church, where she was a member of HomeBound Sunday School Class. The family said: ``Mrs. Tullis was head of the family and everyone depended on her for strength. She was loved by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survivors include a daughter, Jenida Tullis Buie, Lumberton, N.C.; a sister, Barbara Owens, Tennessee; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, Martinez. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
