August 14, 1998 Dear Darrell,

Thank you very much for the latest Warner file. We have been doing some Census searches on the Warners. We have been studying the land division of Jacob Warner and may have some new information to add to your data. I did find the heirs of Nancy [Warner] Young mentioned in the settlement

document as follows-

NANCY WARNER born Dec. 28, 1799, died Apr. 10, 1846, buried Warner

Cemetery, married Bath County, KY Reuben Young. Jacob Warner was the bondsman on a bond dated Aug. 20, 1825 (McClure's Early Marriages in Bath County, KY, page 163). According to the 1850 Census of Bath County, 2nd division, enumerated 13 August, 1850, Family 471, Reuben Young, a Farmer born VA 1801, had in his household his second wife Mildred [Carrington] Young and children born before the death of Nancy and presumed to be her children- Sarah, Original, Francis, Travis, Katharine and Margaret. There were also Elizabeth and Dorcus buried in the Warner Cemetery.

From that the children of Reuben and Nancy [Warner] Young probably are-

1. Elizabeth Young born Nov. 11, 1827, died Sept. 16, 1889. No longer with her family in 1850. 2. Sarah Young born KY 1828 3. Original Young born KY 1833. He was cited on page 458 of An Illustrated History of Bath County by J. A. Richards as one of the early settlers of White Sulphur Precinct as a "practicing oculist". 4. Francis Young born KY 1835 5. Travis Young born KY 1838 6. Dorcus M. Young born Mar. 18, 1840, died Sept. 10, 1841 7. Katharine Young born KY 1842 8. Margaret Young born KY 1846.

Reuben married again to Mildred Carrington, bond by Timothy Carrington dated June 19, 1847. Reuben and Mildred had daughter Loisann Young born KY 1849. In the 1850 Census a Dorcas Young born VA 1770 lived in Reuben's household and she was probably his mother.

Sincerely, Sherry and Bob
