Nancy's parents owned land near Hoods Mills (that later became part of "Warfield Forest"). This land was later owned by Denton. Their names were John G. and Nancy (Warfield) Lansdale.

Children: John W. b. 20 July 1841 Howard Co, MD; d. 15 Oct 1920 Fort Wayne, IN married Mary M. Shipley March 28, 1867 in Howard Co, MD. She was born October 14, 1847 in Maryland, and died September 09, 1912 in Indiana. John and his family were living in Maumee Township, Allen Co, Indiana in the 1900 census. At one time he was on a farm near Berlin Heights, Ohio. He later moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he died. He is buried in Harlan, Indiana.

Joshua Sanders b. 08 Apr 1850 MD; d. 21 May 1909 Erie Co, Ohio married Margaret Anna Kiefer April 04, 1877 in Erie County, Ohio. She was born March 29, 1856, and died April 15, 1938 in Ceylon, Ohio.

George Washington b. 08 Feb 1847 MD; d. 21 Nov 1908 Popular Springs, MD married Mary M. ?. She was born 1846 in Maryland.

Sarah E. b. Abt. 1838 MD.

James W. b. May 1845, MD; d. 18 Feb 1922 married Mary S. Beall. She was born November 19, 1845 in Maryland, and died April 16, 1914.

Zachariah b. Abt. 1846 MD.

Hannah Amelia b. abt. 1854 d. 11 Apr 1925 Popular Springs, MD; m. John Joseph Fleming 05 Jan 1875.
