Mrs. Nancy Caroline Jacobs, wife of Rev. W.W. Jacobs of this city died on Wednesday of last week, as noted at that time.

She was a daughter of Jackson and Ellen Harbaugh of Cicero, Ind. and was born January 1, 1852, being in her 57th year. Sh eas married to W. W. Jacobs, October 18, 1867 and came with him to this city about twenty-five years ago.

Ten children were born to them of whom seven are still living--Harry of this city, Otto of Clinton, and Clifford, whose home is with his parents, Mrs. Lillie Martin of Clinton, Ind., Mrs. Ida Bane, Mrs. Bess Baber and Mrs. Grace Wiley of this city. Three sons are deceased--Clarence, Fred and Jessie, the last of whom died as less than a year of age.

Mrs. Jacobs has been a member of the Christian church since November 3, 1867.

She is survived by two sisters and three half-brothers, Mesdames, J. N. Barber and Will Rodenbeck of Arcadia, Ind., Sherman Jacobs of Arcadia, Ind., Lafayette Jacobs of Anderson, Ind., and Grand Jacobs, who live in California. The former four were here to attend the funeral services which were held at the home on East North Street at two o'clock Thursday.

Rev. F.B. Thomas, pastor of the Christian church, assisted by E. G. Rose, deacon of the church, conducted the service. Music was furnished by a quartette consisting of Miss Leah Brown, Mrs. Otis Coleson, Messrs. Fred Jennings and Eli Wiley. Rev. Thomas sang as a solo the song "Face to Face".

The pall-bearers were the three sons and her three sons-in-law, R. C. Marin, E. A. Baber and Shy Wiley.

Mrs. Jacobs was a faithful wife and mother and very much a home-lover. She was pleasant to meet and her friends were many.
