MYRTLE B. IRWIN of Main Street, Napanoch, a retired clerk for Ellenville Community Hospital, and lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, Sept. 10, at Community General Hospital, Harris. The daughter of the late George and Silvia Rodman Lawrence, she was born April 14, 1917, in Astoria. She was the widow of Joseph Irwin. She was a member of Ellenville Reformed Church. Survivors include one son, Robert Irwin of Hurleyville; one daughter, Joan Irwin Young of Hurleyville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Donald Irwin. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at Loucks Funeral Home, Route 209, Ellenville. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Allen MacGhee will officiate. Burial will be in the Grahamsville Rural Cmetery, Grahamsville. Memorial contriburions may be made to Ellenville First Aid and Rescue Squad, Webstr Street, Ellenville.
