Obituary

Mrs. Myrtle Mae Haugh 77, route 4, Tiffin, OH died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday January 31, 1970, in Tiffin Mercy hospital, where she had been a patient since January the 27th. She was born in Luckey, OH on July 26, 1892, to William and Harriet Jane (Smith) Heckart. She had spent most of her life in this area, and was married in Tiffin on March 15, 1913 to Virgil Vera Haugh. His death occurred October 11, 1967. Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Jeanette Marshall of Colorado, Mrs. Alfred (Alice) Grieve of Tiffin and Mrs. Roland (Nova) Sendelbach of route 4 Tiffin, two sons Thomas R. of Attica, and Jack T. of route 5, Tiffin, two sisters; Mrs. Luella Colvin and Mrs. Lehr Brandon, both of Claremont, California. 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, one brother preceded in death. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist church and of its WSCS and of the Navy mothers club. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Leland Wiley, will be at 1p.m. Tuesday in the Turner-Engle funeral home. Burial will be in Sand Ridge cemetery, Bascom OH.
