She worked as a typist. She married Donald E. Eastham on Aug. 12, 1945, in the Barnstaple Baptist Church, with Rev. A. E. Johnson officiating. The couple moved to the United States in 1945 and lived in Camden for a short time before moving to Cape Vincent. In 1954, they moved to Mannsville where they lived until 1990. Following the sale of their home, they moved to Watertown. Mr. Eastham died April 21, 2000. Mrs. Eastham moved to Ives Hill Retirement Community in December 2002.. Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Robert M. and Maureen, Cicero, Donald E. Jr. and Michele, Adams; and Thomas S. and Darcy, Cuba, N.Y.; three daughters, Jane E. Eastham, Watertown; Suzanne L. Eastham, Lowville; and Debra A. Eastham, Cranston, RI; ten grandchildren...A son, James E., Shrewsbury, Mass., died Aug. 4, 2002. A sister, Imogen Slater, Barnstaple, England, also died before her. Mrs. Eastham was a member of the Mannsville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, teatime, crossword puzzles and visits with her family and friends. Burial: Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, Oneida County NY
