- ↑ The birth date in 1712 is based on the mention in will of her father in 1733. The last two daughters are Hannah and Miriam, suggesting Miriam is the youngest. If Hannah is placed in the gap before John born 1710, typical colonial spacing would require Miriam to be born roughly two years after John. This assumption is based on no unusual arrangements (such as Hannah and Miriam being twins, etc.) and is supported by the record of her birth at Derby and by her age at death as recorded on her gravestone.
