"Passed away Saturday, April 1, 2000 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. Age 87 years, Minnie M. Samson was born April 26, 1912 in Midland, Michigan. She married Bernard Garvey May 11, 1932. He predeceased her in death. Minnie was married to Oren Smith, he also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Corinne Mihora and Carole Kelly, both of Saginaw; one son, Douglas Smith and his wife Carol, of Saginaw; two grandsons, Terry Mihora and his wife Janice of Vassar, Mich, and Tim Mihora of Santa Cruz, Calif.; Three granddaughters, Melissa Eridersbe and her husband Cliff, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Nichole Smith and Lindsay Smith both of Saginaw; one greatgrandson, Ben Mihora of Vassar; one brother, Joseph Samson of Saginaw. Minnie was predeceased by two brothers: Tony and John Samson; two sisters, Margaret Valliere and Elizabeth Klein.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church...
Mass of Christion Burial will take place 11:00 am, Monday April 3, 2000 at St. Helen Catholic Church...Internment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery[Saginaw, Michigan]"
