HISTORY: I have a small Bible in my possession which was given to Milo when he was young. On the first page of this book is written "Milo Johnson, Oct. 3d 1897, Tawas City, MI." Written on the inside of the front cover is "Milo E. Johnston Born Sept 24 1883 at Tawas Johnston, born Tawas City, MI, Sept. 24th 1883. A present from his sister Anna." It looks as if the name Johnson has been changed to Johnston on this page. On the back cover of the book is written "Milo Edger Johnston, Born at Tawas City, Mich., Sept. 24th 1883." Milo never married and had no children I know of. In 1953 I met and visited with Margey (cannot recall her last name), who Milo had lived with for many years. Milo was deceased at this time and Margey was now living with a retired marine sergeant. Marge apparently thought a lot of Milo. She said he loved bowling and worked most of the time in an aircraft factory. I actually visited Marge several times and always found her "in her cups".
