    Interred at Lowe's Creek Cemetery, in Arkansas. Attended elementary school in Grand Prarie, Arkansas. Spent two years at the University of Arkansas, at Fayetteville. Both he and his wife Mabel taught school in Oklahoma. After his mother died (Sallie Ann Hudson DeWitt), he and his family lived at the DeWitt Farm (the 'homeplace') for the remainder of his life. Farmer and schoolteacher.
