  Margaret Clayton, daughter of Wilson Clayton of Jerseyville, died on Monday of last week. She was six years old. The child was recovering from an attack of diphtheria when she caught a cold, causing a relapse. Mr. Clayton lost another child on April 14th from spinal meningitis, at which time he and his wife were sick with diphtheria.
