He married 1st around 1708 [more likely 1707?] to Cécile LE BLANC, daughter of Jacques & Catherine HÉBERT; eleven children. He married 2nd (Port Royal Register) 16 Apr 1732 Anne PRÉJEAN, daughter of Jean & Andrée SAVOIE (widow of Francois PITRE); no children.

RESIDENCES: Was the Village of "Michel" near Grand Pré, Acadia named after him? He was listed as the first resident of the village of Michell on Winslow's list of 1755 , including the Acadians in the Grand-Pré region.He would have been around 70 years old, widowed twice, with no dependents in his household.
