He married 1st around 1708 [more likely 1707?] to Cécile LE BLANC, daughter of Jacques & Catherine HÉBERT; eleven children. He married 2nd (Port Royal Register) 16 Apr 1732 Anne PRÉJEAN, daughter of Jean & Andrée SAVOIE (widow of Francois PITRE); no children. !CENSUS: 1693, Les Mines, Acadia, age 8 years. RESIDENCES: Was the Village of "Michel" near Grand Pré, Acadia named after him?
