Notes written by Moira Darcy Sexton of Bonavilla, County Clare 1960. "My father, Patrick Darcy also knew another brother of Margaret Halloran - Michael - He married and had three children two boys and a girl. One boy went to America and the other boy Mike enlisted in the English Army. They were very intelligent. During the Boer War, Mike was secretary to Colonel Kelly who was a brother to Matt Kelly a landlord in Doolough Lodge here in Clare. Mike died in South Africa R.I.P. Patrick Darcy got a notice to have him prayed for here in Mullagh church. Mike's sister Bridget got married to Terence Hehir. Their family are still alive 1960".

In the General Valuation of Ratable Property in Ireland, Union of Ennistimon in County of Clare on Sept 12th 1855 in the Townland of Knockanalban Ordinance Survey maps 60, 31, 38, 39 for the field numbers 27, 28, 29a Anne Sexton is listed as occupier of 6, 5, 12 acres respectively. In 1858 Michael Halloran is now listed as the occupier. Michael Halloran was married to Susan Sexton who I presume is the daughter of Anne Sexton and Michael has acquired the farm. He lived their until his death, circa 1903 and we find Terrence Hehir listed as occupier. Terrence Hehir married Michael Halloran's daughter, Bridget Halloran born in 1862. The farm then went to John Hehir, son in 1949.
