Michael Joseph Dunning, 57, of Reynoldsburg, formerly Dayton, Ohio, died May 22, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father Robert J. Dunning. Survivors include wife Connie Marie (Bouck) Dunning, whom he married September 9, 1972; mother Mary Jane Dunning; sister Mary Ann (Dr. James) Limbert; brother Thomas (Marlene) Dunning; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was employed by Howard’s Music House, 1966-1967, Lucent Technologies and AT&T; graduate of Chaminade High School, 1967, Undersea Weapons School, Naval Station, 1968; U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He graduated from International Broadcasting College in 1971. Middle Bass Chorus Charter Member…bass singer, involved with Westerville Curtain Players, Telephone Pioneers of America member, professional percussionist, 4 years “The Rogues” (Highlight: Endless Summer Beach Boy East Coast Tour.) On June 29, 1980, Mike assisted with a Guinness Record for the World’s longest model electric train. He was an Ohio State sports fan, Columbus Zoo patron, Theatre patron, enjoyed throwing darts, playing pool, listening to music, and watching classic television shows and movies. And he loved his dogs…Teddy, Willie, Max, Molly, and Markie. May 26, Saturday, visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with services following at 3:00 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. On May 30, Wednesday, a memorial service will be held at Queen of Martyrs Church, 4144 Cedar Ridge Rd., Dayton, OH at 11 a.m. Interment services will be held on Wednesday, May 30 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, OH at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
