NOTES FROM ABOVE SOURCE SAY: In the second of her letters metioned above (note, these letters are discredited above), Mrs. Nobles state that Mercy, born 4 June 1800, marrid a Mr. St. John, and had a daughter Mary Carolyn who married John Belden and in 1912 was living in Lee, Massachusetts. Mary Carolyn Belden's death record indicates that she was born at Galway, Saratoga County, NY, the daughter of Mercy Wolverton and Isaac St. John, and died on 28 September 1912 in Lee Massachusetts, aged 91 years 10 months 29 days, placing her birth at 27 October 1820. She was buried at Attica, Wyoming Co, NY. Isaac St. John has not been found in the New York Censuses

According to Mrs Nobles, Mercy herself lived her last 30 years within ten miles of Batavia, Genesee County, New York and died in 1895, a description that fits Attica. - ↑ United States Census, 1870
