I remember my half sister Maleda, when she and her husband Lawarance and their daughte Carol Ann age abt.1 year or younger, they came to CA in abt 1948 or 49, to seek employment, which there was not at that time, we were all going through some tough times, we lived in a on two bedroom house with 6 children of our own and they came which made 11 in a two bedroom house ... I have no idea where we all slept. Maleda and her family had to return to Iowa as it was just too many for one house and we could not feed everyone. I never saw her or her family again, Maleda died of cancer in Council Bluffs Iowa , I understand she had at least two daughters, one being Carol Ann
