↑ The deed cited on Nehemiah's page shows she is a daughter of John Hall of Taunton whose estate was settled about 1733. Source:Hall, David Brainerd. Halls of New England, Genealogical and Biographical does not appear to have any knowledge of Mehitable's existence. She is probably the daughter of John Hall and Elizabeth King (family 5 on p. 570). The Hall Genealogy erroneously gives the father's death as 1768, but probate file 11686 shows he died before 1723 (a petition in the probate is signed by John and Judith Tisdale, one of the known daughters).
