Wife Clara (3 years older) born in Minnesota—no children. 2 Step-sons are listed Wilbur Frank Muyres (15) And Martin John(12) both are listed as being born in Minnesota. Clara SS# 566-34-0959 Address of Martin 3540 Deer Valley Rd., Rescue, California 95672. Lee Jackson, Deputy Public Guardian, c/o EDC, Public Guardian, 63 Main Street, Placerville, California 95667 Lee called me 9/16/04 and told me that my letter to Martin was forwarded to her, the public Guardian. Martin is now in a home. Martin, I was told, has good days and bad. He has no one. When she told him about my letter, he remembered Maurice fondly and stated he was a “pie baker”. Martin still has a house in Rescue which will eventually have to be disposed of—Lee will include a note that states if any personal items found, they may be of interest to me. Martin didn’t know if any pictures, etc. are in the house. His wife did all of that. Neither of the boys had children or any other survivors. I sent a card, picture of the house at 3050 Honolulu Ave., Verdugo City, California and a picture that I think is Maurice. Father of the two Muyres boys was John Frank, married Clara in 1911 in Shakopee. Clara’s mother was a Stelten and she was born in Shakopee, MN. The census showing Clara and son, John in North Dakota was when she was working her way to California to join John Frank. She left Wilbur in Minnesota with grandparents. She is listed as a cook. Martin remembers Maurice as a baker and his mother as a chef. He thinks they met in Glendale, Calif –not in Minnesota. 11.Have picture at door of bunkhouse or stable showing Maurice stationed in Minnesota
