GRAHAM - Mrs.. Maude Holt Thompson, 90, of 3922 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at Alamance Health Care Center after six months of failing health, three days critical.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Charlie Thompson, and the daughter of Mr. James Lee Holt and Mrs.. Julie Elizabeth Wood Holt, both deceased. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Women's Bible Sunday School class.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs.. Betty Price of Greensboro and Mrs.. Sara Phillips of Graham; a son, Mr. Arthur Thompson of Graham; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Dewey Lee Thompson; two sisters, Mrs.. Carrie Loy and Mrs.. Ida Loy; and five brothers, Mr. Luther Holt, Mr. Ralph Holt, Mr. Frank Holt, Mr. Fred Holt and Mr. Burl Holt.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church by the Rev. Rick Moser, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will be at Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 9 this evening, and at other times at the home of a daughter, Mrs.. Sara Phillips, 3908 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, Graham.
