He married Abigail Forsyth, born 8 Aug 1763 in Montville, Connecticut Marriage date: 23 Nov 1762 in New London Matthew may have enjoyed a second marriage to an Elizabeth Smith. His sister Mary wed Moses, son of Robert and Sarah (Camp) Fargo. As a hint for genealogists, one must check every spelling of a name. Matthew is a good example.
