    Will of "Matthew Sprague of Hingham ... being far advanced in years", dated 8 Aug 1764, proved 8 Jul 1763, mentions "my three Daughters namely Sarah Gilbart, Margret Hearsey, & Lydia Stowell", "my Only Son Noah Sprague ... Sole Executor", remarking that "I have by the Providence of God been taken of from my Labours for near Twenty years past and the Only Assistance I have had towards my Support, has been from the Care & Labour of my only Son". Inventory taken 11 Sep 1783 by Benjamin Cushing Esq., Shubael Fearing and Nathaniel Gilbert, totaled £447.0.9.
