Mathew Roney is the only grandchild of seventy-five grand children forPeter Roney and Sarah Brookman whose life after being born no details are known.

The email, copied below, from from one of Peter and Sarah's many descendants when I suggested that maybe Mathew had died as an infant does indicate that he may have lived to become an adult, however no records of marriage death or military enlistment have currently been found for Mathew.

Hi Jeffrey, Re your email, I think you can rule out death as an infant for Mathew, because on his mother Mary Ellen's death cert. 1919, (which I have a copy of) , her children were entered as :- George 13, Winifred 11, Mathew 9, Patrick 7, Joseph 4, Ellen Margaret 5 months". I don't have any further information as I do not go into extended families - only to P & S's grandchildren. Have never found a birth entry either, just assumed 1910 as he was 9 in 1919, and 1912 for Patrick as he was 7 in 1919. First born, Peter, (1904-1904) was not listed on cert. Regards Jean
