The Cumberland Presbyterian Church was built and the cemetery laid out in 1872 on land donated by Major James Warnick. the date: July 15, 1872 is the date on the oldest monument that of Thos' W Williams. the cemetery is owned by the Presbyterian Church and is still being used. It is in poor condition. No records of Interment are kept. Mr Finis Woodford R 5, Warrensburg, Missouri is trustee. When later the land was surveyed it was found that the cemetery had been started on land belonging to Coats and became known as Coats Cemetery. Later the Suttons bought the land and when they sold it they deeded the cemetery to the public. There are no records but the cemetery is still in use.
