Notes on the Parents of Mary White

  • Parents = UNKNOWN ; both born in North Carolina
    • Mary's maiden name is identified as "White" in 1856 on dau Armilda's birth certificate and again in 1917 on on dau Emily (Hall) Burgess' death certificate. (See their pages for citations.) From the 1880 census, we learn that both parents were born in North Carolina.
