WHEELER [2:61] Mary, of Squier and Lidia, [born] Feb. 1, 1724-5.
Several members of the Wheeler family married members of the Goff family. But there are two Mary Wheelers born in Rehoboth that might be of an age to marry in 1747/8: d/o Squire Wheeler, and d/o Squires's brother Phillip Wheeler, b. 1730. Presumably one married Constant Goff and one married in 1748 Nathaniel Millerd. Source:Wheeler, Albert Gallatin. Genealogical and Encyclopedic History of the Wheeler Family in America only gives the birth for these two, offering no help. MD, p. 47:137, has an abstract of the will of Phillip Wheeler, dated 10 Sep 1765, which mentions his deceased daughter Mary, and her daughters Mehitable and Sarah. Ironically, the will is witnessed by Constant Goff, but he had no daughter Mehitable while Nathaniel Millerd did (in 1763). Valentine Wheeler, the son of Phillip Wheeler (MD, p. 49:138), was appointed administrator of Nathaniel Millerd, further supporting the idea that Phillip's daughter Mary m. Nathaniel Millerd, and by elimination, this Mary Wheeler m. Constant Goff.
