Daniel married Mary ____, b. c. 1688; d. 4 January 1760. In his diaries, 1757-1766, Samuel Tillinghast notes death of "Mother Carr" (his mother-in-law by his second marriage to Hannah (_____) 4 January 1760. Research of Wayne Tillinghast of the Records of the Second Baptist Church of Newport note that a Mary Carr died 4 January 1760. These records also note that Daniel Carr, Mary's husband, had been a member of the Church since 1718.
