Memorials of the Descendants of William Shattuck : The Progenitor of the Families in America That Have Borne His Name p. 109, identifies the wife of Joseph Fox as Mary Tuttle, d/o Samuel Tuttle and Martha Shattuck. Undoubtedly he was influenced by naming of children Lucy Tuttle Fox and Martha Fox. But the birth of the indicated Mary Tuttle in 1740 is 8 years off from the age at death, and she is otherwise thought to the be the Mary Tuttle who married Joseph Harwood, so this is most likely not who Joseph Fox's wife was. No marriage record seems to exist.
