Children of John Stockwell [#12] and Mary Lurvey: Mary, b. probably Ipswich about 1709, died unmarried.
[Note: cites Source:Benedict, William Addison. History of the Town of Sutton, Massachusetts, from 1704 to 1876, p. 730, which says she died unmarried. However, no death record has been found. Further, Sutton VRs, p. 361, and Leicester VRs, p. 158, say Mary Stockwell of Sutton m. 1756 Capt. Nathaniel Green (see here, also here). There may be other candidates as well for this marriage. Additionally a Mary Stockwell m. 1732 Ebenezer Cutler, who is commonly thought to be the daughter of William (e.g., Source:Cutler, Nahum S. Cutler Memorial and Genealogical History, p. 331, no basis given; Source:Kennedy, Mabel Stockwell. Stockwell Genealogy, p. 8, 20, favoring William Sr. over William Jr. as father and estimating birth about 1698), but given a child born to Ebenezer and Mary in 1743, this Mary may be a better match agewise.]
