Mrs. Etta Confer, wife of Samuel Confer of Akeley, died at the family home at 4 o'clock Saturday Morning. Mrs. Confer was taken ill with pneumonia about a week ago and while she had been very low since that time her death came as a shock to the whole community. She had been a resident of Akeley the past five years during which time she had won many friends by her cheerful disposition. She was an active member of Akeley Grange No. 870 in which order she will be greatly missed. Mrs. Confer was 42 years of age. The husband, one daughter, Ruth, two sons, Harmon and Harold will deeply mourn a faithful wife and affectionate mother. She is also survived by her parents and two sisters of Sugar Grove, who have the sympathy of the community. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial in Hale Cemetery.
