Mrs. Mary Harshman

Mrs. Mary B. Harshman, 95, of Myersville, died Sunday, April 29, at Fahrney-Keedy Home, Boonsboro.

She was the wife of the late John W. Harshman, who died in 1971.

Born Nov. 21, 1905, in Myersville, Mrs. Harshman was a daughter of the late Elmer W. and Ida S. Harshman Poffenberger.

Mrs. Harshman was a life member of Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville, where she was also a member of the Ladies Bible Class. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Myersville and Middletown.

She is survived by one son, Harold L. Harshman and wife Marie of Frederick; one daughter, Betty J. Wiles and husband Russell of Frederick; two grandchildren, Richard E. Wiles of Roanoke, Va., and Vickie E. Linton of Frederick; four great-grandchildren, Scott Wiles of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Kimberly Wiles of Lexington Park, and Jason Linton and Joy Esmyer, both of Frederick; and four great-great-grandchildren, Jacob Linton, Jeffrey Linton,Abagail Wiles and Rutgar Wiles.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Ricketts Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Myersville. Pastors Tim and Donna Ritchey Martin will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Interment will be in Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myersville.
