Administration of estate Peter Newcomb granted 10 May 1738 to widow Mary, but "soon after" granted to his son Peter. Her will, dated 1738, gave to son Jonas Humphrey of Weymouth, daugher Mary Newcomb, grandsons Peter and Jedediah, son Richard deceased, grandson Richard.
[Note: based on the presentation in this source, her daughter by her first husband, Mary Humphrey, married her step-son Peter Newcomb. The grandsons appear to be theirs. The son Richard was Mary's by 2nd husband Peter, i.e., Richard Newcomb, who died without issue in 1728.]
