Facts and Events
Name[1][2] Mary Perkins
Gender Female
Birth[2] Abt 1653
Marriage 10 Jan 1669 to Thomas Wells
Death[1][2] 26 Jan 1726/27 Amesbury, Essex, Massachusetts, United States

Parentage

Stearns identifies Mary's parents as John & Elizabeth Perkins of Ipswich, as does Williams (Anc Lawrence Williams). Hoyt in Old Families, states Mary may be the daughter of Quartermaster John of Ipswich. Both Crane and Cutter (Hist Homes Middlesex) do not identify parents. Family of John Perkins (1884 & 1889 editions) does not identify a daughter Mary to John Perkins. It does note that Jacob2 had a daughter Mary but it is improbable that she married Thomas Wells at the age of 11/12.
