  6. MF5G, Vol. 6, p. 390, adds "(Rev. service as Sergeant from CT)" after listing Mary's marriages, so presumably this pension file is evidence for the third marriage. Also, according to this source, Mary's father's will of 1805 identifies daughter "Mary [or Mary] Gills" (Columbia, NY, probate C:87) Otherwise no record of these marriages exist. If so, however, working backwards requires including the first marriage to Justus Bradley - a name which there appears to be only one listed in the 1790 census anywhere in the United States, in North Haven, CT.
