Person:Mary Mercer (13)

It has been speculated that she was the wife of John Bowlby (whose wife's name was Mary), because John's father was executor of Mary's father's will^[1]. This evidence appears to be extremely tenuous, especially since she was likely unmarried at the time of her father's will (the will does not mention her surname). There does not appear to be any other evidence to suggest that she was John Bowlby's wife.
