The Father of Nancy McCreary was supposedly a John McCreary. There was another John McCreary, born abt. 1712, that lived in Augusta County, VA that married Agnes Crawford bef. 1738, but he would have been too young to have been this Nancy's father (besides that John McCreary had a daughter Nancy born in 1740). Perhaps he was an older brother to this Nancy? More research is necessary.
