When they moved to the house on Reynolds St.,Flint, she was a midwife, for a local doctor, he would call her and tell her a lady was ready to go into labor and she would go to the woman's home and wait for the Dr., or deliver it herself and stayed around to help the woman and her baby. She was short of stature, 5'or less, but, must have been pretty strong, to keep up with 13 children, she had babies for 25 yrs.,
